Review by hotel critic
During my recent one-night stay at Hotel Britomart, I found it to be a solid option for those looking to balance luxury with value in Auckland. The location is prime for exploring the city, with ample public transport and the vibrant Britomart dining precinct just a stone's throw away. The room itself was well thought-out, offering a spacious feel due to its clever design. I appreciated the comfortable large bed and the exceptional walk-in shower. A mini-bar was present, but I consciously held back from indulging as it was towards the end of my trip. The staff, particularly Daria, were attentive and fulfilled special requests seamlessly. Room service from the on-site restaurant, Kingi, was prompt and the food was commendable. I also noticed excellent technology features, including easy-to-use lighting controls and effective blackout blinds. While I didn't explore all amenities, the hotel's sustainability efforts and thoughtful touches definitely stood out. Hotel Britomart merges style, convenience, and an appealing value for those venturing into Auckland's fashion landscape.
